Ballet is the foundation of all dance, and these classes engage students though creative exercises that are designed to build a beautiful, graceful, and healthy body, improving technique, posture and poise.
At Dance 4 Fun, students are taught the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) classical ballet syllabus. Ballet is a great challenge and requires discipline, strength, balance, grace and stage presence. RAD exams are available for students wishing to assess their progress and give themselves a goal to work towards.
The most rhythmic of dance styles, tap teaches kids musicality and rhythm and is great fun! At Dance 4 Fun we teach a variety of different tap styles, from classic broadway style to funk tap, however most routines are based on the Tapatak Oz syllabus. Tap exams are available upon request.
Adult Tap classes are also available for anyone looking for recreational fitness. These classes are relaxed and casual, allowing experienced dancers and beginners alike to experience the joy of tap dancing while socialising and having fun.
Acro is a fusion of dance and gymnastics. Learn tumbling, balance, limbering, contortion and partnering skills in a safe and fun environment. From backbends to handstands, forward rolls, backflips and everything in between, acro teaches all kinds of tricks, whilst developing strength, posture, core control and flexibility. Acro is graded by ability to ensure students learn at a safe and appropriate level.

Jazz classes are great fun, teaching basic dance technique whilst dancing to all the hit songs from the radio today.
These classes focus on flexibility, strength and coordination, teaching students to execute kicks, turns and leaps as they enjoy a high energy, upbeat class in a fun, relaxed environment.
Contemporary dance is a highly innovative style of dance, that pushes the boundaries of classical ballet technique and interpretive movement. With elements of lyrical, modern and abstract movement, contemporary is a challenging but beautiful style of dance.
It is recommended students also take a ballet class to assist in their contemporary technique.
This class focuses on training the ‘triple threat’ performer: dancing, singing and acting!
Students will enjoy this fun and versatile class, practicing vocal exercises, singing technique and dramatic expression, whilst learning and performing songs and choreography from popular Broadway musicals new and old!
A stylised combination of street funk, pop, old school, break dancing and R&B inspired by the styles seen in modern music videos, Hip Hop is a blast! Kids enjoy grooving to their favourite songs whilst building confidence, learning the latest moves and having fun!
Tiny Tots classes are specialised dance classes designed for pre-schoolers! Tiny Tots Ballet is a 30 minute ballet class filled with twirling, tip-toes, plies, princesses, and everything pretty! Twirl and Tumble is a 45 minute intro to Acro and dance, with all kinds of rolling, tumbling, balancing and grooving. These imaginative classes allow little ones to learn fundamental dance technique whilst developing gross motor skills, confidence and musicality in a safe and fun environment!
These classes are designed to aid in building the dancer's body. Body Conditioning is a general fitness and strength class, while Stretch focuses on building high level flexibility and contortion training specifically for students taking acrobatics classes.
